The Winds of Dawn hosted our second ever Newbielympics! All events took place between Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 20th, 2003. Thanks to all the folks who participated and volunteered and contributed prizes!
All official Newbielympics events were limited to folks below Lord/Lady level (around 550 ranks). Some parts of events were limited to below Master/Mistress level (around 200 ranks)- any events of this type were be labeled as such. Every exile who participated in an event qualified for a special drawing held at the closing ceremonies for additional prizes.

Crafting - Runs from the opening to the closing ceremonies of the Newbielympics. All items required to be used up in the crafting of an item must be collected or aquired during the event. Accepting donations and purchasing items from traders allowed. Actual crafting must be done by the exile. Money made from tailoring to be taken into account. All crafted items to be consumed (if possible) at the closing ceremonies. |

Hide and Seek - There will be 7 hiders who will go and hide somewhere in the farms or town area (underground is not included). Then all contestants will search for the hiders. The contestant who finds the most hiders wins (there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize). In the case of tie there will be multiple rounds of hiding and seeking until a clear winner is chosen. |

1st was Emer (won a 1st place windbreaker, fishing rod, and 400c), 2nd was Wayfarer (won a 2nd place windbreaker, fishing rod, and 150c), 3rd was Joly (won a 3rd place windbreaker, fishing rod, and 75c). Greyfox won a greymyr rock candy for extra hard work! Additional participants were Juren, Roffian and Therian. |

Exile Hunt: Each exile is given a spot to go to with a clue. Once to the second spot, they are given another clue and so on until they reach the end. |

1st place was Amfi, she won a "1st place Clue Hunt" pair of binoculars, pair of shoes and 400c. 2nd place was Radinka, she won a "2nd place Clue Hunt" spyglass, pair of shoes and 150c. 3rd place was Sabriel, she won a "3rd place Clue Hunt" magnifying glass, pair of shoes and 75c. Dance Competition: Exiles perform dances alone and in pairs to provided up-tempo music and will be judged on originality and coordination. Older exiles are encouraged to come and dance for fun, and help with the judging. Dance macro tips here. |

Teams will be formed at the event. Each team will pick one to be their clan's "bunny". The object of the contest is to have your bunny fall to three things before the other clan's can. An independent judge will be /sharelocked by both of the bunnies so he can verify their falling. |

Team #1 won (Zell, Caber, Sabriel, Scon, Mind'dra was the bunny). They each received 300c. Team #2 (Moon Kitty, Juran, Gluttony, Mestoph, Emer was the bunny) each received 150c.

Push-a-Thon: Teams start out at NW beach (N of W town) and must quickly make one of their number fallen (no bitter berries allowed) and pushed to the safe snell. The teams are allowed to interfere with each other by pushing or pulling. The first team's fallen to cross the finish line wins. If there are more than two teams, there will be play-offs. Teams will be formed at the event. |
